I am on BI-PAC at nights. Where the mask goes it makes me itch so much. Any ideas what I can do not allowed to use vasaline. Many thanks.

Why does my mask make me itch so much.

Hi Chrissy

I use a Bipap too, the Nippy st+. The best mask l have found so far is the Resmed Aitfit F20 . If you are experiencing itchy skin or irritation you could try a mask liner. Also there are foam or gel strips that you can either buy or ask your Bipap provider or respiratory nurses for. These may help a little. Also during the day you could use a soothing lotion like Aveeno.

Try washing it in warm water with some Dettol in with it, thats what i do every few days
