Anyone else have this problem

For some reason every time I change my diaper with in 5 mins I wet it. I never have a dry diaper. I try to empty my bladder before I change but no matter what as soon as I put on a new diaper I wet it. Anyone else has this problem?

That was my case for 3 years. When you are incontinent you are incontinent, you can’t hold back. Your kidneys are generating urine almost all the time and it simply goes out, you are not able to hold it.

Another possibility is that you are not truly emptying your bladder. We always have some residual in our bladders, but some people retain more than they should, and so that may start leaking out rather quickly. And different things can cause this to happen.

Incomplete bladder emptying is something a urologist can confirm for you. And if you are not emptying as much as you should, a urologist may recommend intermittent catheterization, which requires your inserting a very small catheter into the urethra a few times a day to really empty that bladder out.

This is something you should discuss with your urologist to see if this might be what is happening to you or not. The issue is important because incomplete bladder emptying can set a person up for urinary tract infections. And you really don't one of those!

Yes, my constant leaking keeps me home! I can’t go for walks or shop or go to social activities.

Urologist has me on a medication but after four weeks it is not helping!
