Vitamin D Deficiency in Children

This is information for patients and caregivers of children who have urinary incontinence and OAB symptoms.

A very recent study shows that children with UI and OAB may also have low levels of Vitamin D. This is a link to the abstract in PubMed, which is published by the US National Library of Medicine. This abstract can be printed and then shared with your professional healthcare provider and be a point of discussion if your child has never been tested for a Vitamin D deficiency. This is an interesting study that may offer some hope and help from some children.
