Had a steroid injection to ease with psoriatic arthritis now I'm in absolute agony with the glute they injected. Crazy muscle spasms and a lot of pain. Have the hit a trigger point or nicker a nerve? What should I do?

When i first had steroid injection in shoulder i was in agony for a day and a half, after that it settled down and made a difference . I was warned this could happen and to rest. If you have any concerns , and were not told this could happen, i would contact your doctor or go to A&E. I really hope it does settle down for you and starts to work. Good luck x

Hi @kelltobhillary - sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. I agree with weathervane - if you have any concerns at all and were not told to expect this level of discomfort I would recommend seeing your GP or going to A&E. I hope that things have calmed over the weekend.
