Feet like ice

I am waiting on doppler tests which my surgery, I am in the UK, says should be before Christmas. I have tingling and dull leg pain and at times numb spots on my lower legs. At night I wear compression socks, well they are for diabetes sufferers, though I don't have diabetes. Over the compression socks, I wear loose bed socks, and my feet are still cold. So cold I struggle to get to sleep. Any suggestions regarding a heating pad, or anything that might be worth trying? I am struggling with this so I will consider anything. Health conditions, congestive heart failure, osteoarthritis, retrosternal thyroid, two prominent varicose veins on side of the knees. Thank you in advance.
