Hi just wandering if anyone gets pins and needles in their hands while taking ramipril
Ramipril: Hi just wandering if anyone... - Cholesterol Support
Ramipril
Pins and needles could be a side effect of Ramipril which can raise the potassium, you need to get a blood test.
No pins and needles but a persistant irritating cough, so much so that I had to change medication.
The cough is driving me mad and keeping me awake at night. I am going to see my GP about changing to another med too before my lovely husband and I end up in seperate beds so that he can get some sleep!
Sorry to hear about your cough I have no cough did get depressed a lot when I first started taking them but seems to have gone a bit been on ramipril for about 8 months so I think my body is starting getting used to them 😊
I don't get pins n needles but my little fingers do get cold!
Yes, my husband did but his concerns over side effects had been generally ignored. Also has cold hands. On statins too. Had problems and fell, sent to 'movement' clinic - actually to see if he had Parkinson's. He has not. It's side effects GP is ignoring - he's 85. Went into local Unit for a surgical procedure and the surgeon told him to stop taking Rampiril immediately. Marginally better but his confidence took a bash.
Sorry to hear about your husband dont get pins and needles that much any more so think my bodys getting used to the ramipril dont get any other side effects so far so good ☺
