Niacin?

Who out there uses niacin (vit B3)? What are your experiences and where do you source it please?

me and my family take niacin and it works you must read the book niacin the real story by Dr abram hoffer ive tried all the statin drugs they ruined my life ive seen my cardiac and lipid consultant and both told me to try niacin you must take high dosage of niacin for it to work its the only drug to hit your Lpa statins dont do that you must take niacin in small dosage at first let your body get use to it you will get a hot flush over your body but that does go over time i get my niacin from the nhs now i take 2,000 mg a day if you cant get your doctor to give it to you you can get it from bodykind of the internet if you need any more help or advice you can email me on [e-mail] but please read the book its opened my eyes and ive got my quality of life back after stopping the statins take care now

Hia I heard it was good for the tiredness that statins cause and so I have recently began to take them and I get them from a health shop

Niacin should be taken as the 'flush' variety. The non flush variety damages the liver. It is very good taken in conjunction with other B vitamins. I took it for quite a while but found it made my already low blood pressure even lower so stopping it for a while. Get a good make, ie Solgar, Lamberts, Nutri etc etc. not H&B.

I have been on Niacin for 12months & have had great results. I get it from Bodybuilding.com Now Niacin 500mg 250 tabs for around $10.00usd plus postage the cheap postage is about $3.00 & takes about 14 days you can pay more & get it quicker.
