My daughter has had this rash for months now. I’ve taken her to 3 different doctors (waiting for specialist at the end of the month)
Timeline that I feel Coincides:
November: the flu
December she developed a huge swollen Lymph node (another doctor said it was a salivary gland) either way it swoll half her face. With this, a small rash started around her eyes. I was told to put cream for eczema (she has dealt with eczema for years). This is nothing like her eczema rashes though, they don’t itch, they don’t present the same way.. they come and go like a blink of an eye.. her eczema doesn’t do that!
Also, there is always a “negative” space no matter how bad the rash is, when she’s having an outbreak! It’s in the shape of an “X”. Very distinctive.
Her skin is starting to break on her neck around her face all of a sudden.
Seems to get worse in the sun!
Completely cleared up with prednisone, but I can’t keep her on that...
it doesn’t hurt or itch, but she’s embarrassed by it and does nervously pick it.
