Hi everyone,

I'm new to the board and really need your advice.

My little boy has been unwell for 6 months now. He has a severe peanut allergy, allergy to grass pollen and eczema. He's 5 years old.

Since Christmas he's been suffering with enlarged lymph nodes all over his body, severe night itching, pale and cold hands and feet. he had a lymph node removed and the results aren't entirely conclusive but they are pretty sure he doesn't have lymphoma which is good news.

They have put his symptoms down to his allergies and eczema but something isn't sitting right with me.

A lot of his blood results have been out of range and a Lyme disease test came back with a "false positive" result. Whenever I ask specifically what is out of range on his bloods I'm told it's not of significance. Antihistamine doesn't help and any eczema treatment including steroids hasnt worked.

My question is does anyone else's little one suffer from enlarged lymph nodes? And has anyone been able to get hold of their child's medical records from the hospital?

Thankyou (-and sorry for long lost) just feel like it's very easy to get fobbed off (it happened to me with my thyroid condition), don't want to see him suffering anymore.

X x

I got copies of my hospital records under the Data Protection Act. Always applied within 40 days of last being seen, so got them free of charge.

Do the same rules apply when asking for your child's records? Could you ring up legal department at hospital and ask?

Or ask at GP practice for a print out of all blood tests results.xπŸ₯
