My Son really struggles at school with concentration and focus. How do I know it’s not the brain tumor causing the issue?

Lack of focus and concentration

Hi
I had a tumour aged 5 back in 1990. I'm now 40 and doing my 2nd degree but need lots of help from my P.A, support tutor and note taker as I am deaf without my hearing aids and have epilepsy. Back then the Radiotherapy effected all the head but I didn't become deaf until I was 17.
I do remember having greater and greater problems hearing what the teacher was saying and getting told off for that. It wasn't until my gradma noticed my change of charecter, from fustration and even violenece from being bullied at school ( I nearly killed myself twice) that I had any help to stop it.
I wonder if the condition is an unfound one from the treatment earlier on (How old are they) that has only just appeared?
It could of coarse be something else like fustration with damaged parts of his body he's left with that won't work properly (memory etc) or secret bullying or rejection by the other kids, especialy in high school, that he's not telling you about.
I have a tendancy to talk too much so I'll go now and finish my breakfast, but I hope that helps
