Scared partner

My partner developed a blood blister on the side of his tongue a month ago and he squeezed it and it turned into an ulcer went to doc and he sent him to specialist a last week by which time the ulcer had healed but specialist found a white area under tongue and he has to have a biopsy in two weeks time. He has had a few more blood blisters on the same side of tongue as original one and we are both petrified this means it’s cancer. Please help
