I finished the last run for this week’s 5k+ stamina podcast. I’m following the NHS fitness plan, and next week is the final week with interval training. My last two runs have been in the rain — so annoying — but I remembered to bring my rain coat that fits me again! I haven’t been able to zip it up in two years.
I’m also doing the NHS weight loss plan and finished that today too. Since I started the program 12 weeks ago, I’ve lost 18.2 lbs. My feet stopped hurting when I get out of bed, and it’s easier to breath.
As I lower my caloric intake, it takes about a several days to a week before my body accepts the new caloric limit. Going forward, I’ll keep monitoring my caloric intake and keep my activity levels up. I’ve been told that I don’t necessarily have to do it everyday, but to make several checks throughout the week to stay on track. I’ll probably keep doing it daily until I’m no longer considered “obese,” and that’s about another 26lbs to go. I’m so happy that the NHS made these programs. They have changed my life for the better!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
