I started couch to 5k along with the NHS weight loss plan in March. Since then, I’ve lost 15lbs by following this plan, making sure to count all of the calories I consume, and going to therapy. It’s been hard and scary, and sometimes I don’t know the official amount of calories, but I’ve made so much progress so I think that is ok. I still have a lot of work to do, but I know that I am strong enough to do this.

Yesterday, I had hip pain running. I had to stop halfway through my run because it was getting to be unbearable. I stretched when I got home, took a hot bath, stretched some more, and then did some upper arm exercises. Today, I did some jogging in place, some strength exercises, and then read some articles on how to strengthen my hips. I’ll try to run again tomorrow after a longer warm up session.
