Week 1 Run 2

I feel good! I'm tracking my distance with Charity Miles, an app that donates a certain amount of money to a charity of your choice for every mile you run. I completed 2.26 miles in the half hour, so I don't have too far to go as far as the full 5K. I'm really glad I'm doing this, feel like I'm working toward a worthwhile goal rather than being skinny.

  • I use this app, too - I run for St. Jude's! And I'm running a 5k for Samaritans with my sorority in a few months. I'm at a comfortable 2 miles right now and trying to get up to 2.5 or 3 before the race in late September.
