Ear infection

I be hadmild T, for about 5 yrs in one ear, I wear hearing aids, due to slight earring loss for last 4 yrs, ime 56.

All was ok, only getting mild T in left ear, but 6 weeks back, I had a slight ear ache, then a week later got a lout hissing in my right ear. Recently I noticed my earring was getting very acute, and last weekend noticed my left ear didn’t feel right, I thought it was a build up of wax, but having the syringed only 4 weeks back, thought it was strange, I went to audiologist for microsuction, to be told I had an ear infection, and that’s why I couldn’t hardly hear from that ear, I immediately contacted DR, who told me to use optermize ear spray, and assured me. , it would get better, 4 days later, still not right, ime begging to think that ime now 90% deaf in that ear, teally worried. I only got one good ear now, and need an aid for that.

It does sound like you need to follow up with your doctor. Ear infections often need a course of antibiotics to help resolve them.
