I have broncietasis and COPD and Asthma. Yes I get very tired for no reason, I have asked Doctors, and the reply I got was, it must be something you have that is causing it !. I think I could have diagnosed that myself. But I did get a new tablet the last time I saw one, it is called Acepiro, it does help to soften the mucus, making it easier to bring it up. This is a help, but not a GREAT help. However I have not been using it very long so let us hope. But I do feel a bit better than a I was, and not quite so fatigued. So good luck and I would be interested in any other news about this condition.

I have both! Severe copd and bronchiectasis. I really don't know the answer to your question, I just keep busy. I follow the rules, e.g. eat well, (plus cake!🍰) yoga classes, a bit of walking, take my meds, we visit the theatre and exhibitions etc as often as possible. I refuse to be scared to go out and think that's why I have a reasonable immune system. I was poorly last summer and found talking therapy to be really beneficial . The gp I saw at that time was very proactive and caring. I was under the tx clinic at Harefield but have managed to remain stable so have been provisionally discharged. I think acceptance, if I'm having a bad day I curl up with a book, but being proactive helps, as does pacing. There are meds out there that can help. E.g. Azithromycin to help ward off infections, morphine or oxycodone to aid breathing etc.
