Hi surgery changed my meds from Trelegy to Trimbow as it can be taken via spacer. Feeling worse since change about a month now, especially morning at evening. Getting very breathless even with short walks. I have emphysema and bronciatasis , not on oxygen. Thanks

Hi jimmy1c,

I suffer with bronchiectasis and copd and was changed from seretide to trimbow. The respiratory nurse said that it takes 2-3 months to get the full benefit. I also take it using a spacer.

Anyway this is my experience with Trimbow so far:

The first couple of days taking it were amazing, but after that for the first month I seemed to really suffer coughing and breathlessness to the point of me thinking that it was no good for me. However, I started seeing a real difference in the second month with airway clearance being a lot better, my breathing being a lot clearer, less coughing and a considerable difference in the breathlessness that I have previously suffered with.

I am coming to the end of month 2 and will soon be starting month 3 and definitely feel it is working and making a difference for me.
