Tiredness

I have shortness of breath and a dry cough. The hardest thing for me to deal with is the tiredness. Any suggestions. Thanks
I am sorry to see you have no replies yet, perhaps nobody has any answers.I share your problem, and am very frustrated.
I've had vasculitis for 6 years now, with the first symptom having been sudden breathing problems, which was due to moderate airflow obstruction. Bronchiectasis followed, together with CKD and Osteoporosis and a few other problems. All difficult to live with, but it is the constant tiredness that began 3 years ago that I find the most difficult to accept and live with. I have no energy and can't stop myself dozing off nearly every afternoon. It's such a waste of life!
None of my consultants have come up with an answer.
This winter has been the most difficult time. I am hoping that when Spring comes and the weather gets warmer, I can get out more. Perhaps this might help the energy levels, I don't know.
Thanks for your reply - I think that tiredness is one of the most difficult things to live with. I come home from work and sometimes need to close my eyes for about an hour. Winter has also been bad for me as I'm finding out that cold weather is my biggest trigger to SOB. Here's to increased energy once spring arrives. Take care
I really relate to your post. I am wide awake at 5 am but by 3pm, I am asleep in my armchair. A deep lassitude sets in and i have little energy to make my dinner. My Bronch. Is constant with a projectile cough,I also have Oesteo., diagnosed 30 years ago and am suffering from constant back pain. Have requested a fresh bone density scan but am told it could be ages..
Hi, sorry to read your post, I also have Bronch. and feel tired most of the day, falling asleep at 3 pm most days. I have a wet cough however, often projectile. I need to go outside to breath fully, and either garden or walk each day. As i suffer from almost constant back pain, my gardening has to be planned in advance, Singing is good for your lungs and clearance, and helps tiredness by invigorating. I read yesterday that the Royal Opera House is going to share its training for singers to help people with issues.will be reading that myself.
Hope with Summer supposedly advancing you will feel better soon!
Thanks for replying to my post. I think it's harder dealing with tiredness than with my shortness of breathe. Yesterday was a nice day here in mid 70's so I went out for a couple of short walks - felt good. Have an awesome summer
