Patient Access document folder disabled.

I find Patient Access useful for managing my bronchiectasis. Reports from hospital can be viewed quickly online as opposed to mail copy (about 3 weeks). However the Documents folder has recently been disabled. Why would the GP do this? It is very distressing.
