Hi I have cirrhosis diagnosed in 2017, I have had a “fatty liver “ for over 20+ years . Been overweight/obese for past 20 years.

I started intermittent fasting on January 22,2022. I am down 103 pounds. It was slow and steady which I combined exercise started out walking a bit here and there but as long as I did something every day. I just had my latest Liver MRI awaiting results.

The doc said loosing weight will help but I will still have cirrhosis. Hoping my liver looks better with less fat.

Mary, I hope your scan reflects all your hard work. Your story is my story, fatty liver for years, now cirrhosis because I had no idea it could happen. Good luck and keep us posted.

Good luck for your results. There certainly seems to be huge benefits to intermittent fasting and not just weight loss.
