Hi there, my fibroscan was 6 a while back and I have changed to grilling everything and watching fat etc on meat. My most recent scan is 5.7 which is only 0.3 better but at least it's moving in the right direction especially as I have acute hepatitis last year but I'm wondering what else I can do in my diet to help make this lower. I don't drink, and try to eat healthly.
Any tips that I can put into practice would be gratefully appreciated. I want to make my liver as health as possible going forward.
Thank you.

A fibroscan score of 6 or better still 5.7 kPa is nothing to be concerned about it's practically normal, healthy liver or at very worst F1. I don't think you need to go mad trying to get that down any lower. What caused your acute hepatitis (liver inflammation) last year? It would not appear to have left you with a permanent issue.
Healthy diet, exercise and generally look after your liver to make sure it stays in good shape.
Thanks for the reply. Has really helped. My acute hepatitis was caused due to a medication used in my hernia operation. Various consultants were asked and it is believed it was an aesthetic drug so now if I have another operation I have to raise the issue to them.
