I'm relatively new to the party, so will let someone with much more knowledge comment on your decompensated liver. First off, congratulations on keeping off the drink for 6 months, probably the most important single thing that you can do.
Before my diagnosis I was a big pop drinker, 3 or 4 cans a day, every single day. We used to buy it in bulk from the cash'n'carry. 😔 You will find that the pop, won't quench your thirst and if at all possible you should switch to water. Much more beneficial in terms of flushing out any toxins and I've certainly seen a noticeably difference in my overall health.
Well done with your progress so far and keep up the good work.
