Has anyone been able to get life insurance, linked to a mortgage? I have seen the list of travel insurance, but am seeking life insurance providers. Thank you! I should add, we are in our 30s and in the UK.

You may have to so around yourself. Each firm has its own rules. After my transplant I was given a list of travel insurance companies who would not penalise or load premiums for transplant recipients. I couldn't find one on the list that would cover me at a sensible cost and most declined outright. So just shop around.

Probably would have to opt for "guaranteed acceptance" type of policy.Most only refund the premiums paid if you croak in the first 2 years but full cover after that.
Bloody expensive though.
