Catheter pain
Sounds like that needs checking out because with long term catheterisation you could have developed a urinary tract infection - any infection along with your cirrhosis could be potentially very dangerous. UTI's can also lead to confusion issues and potentially even sepsis.
As it's the weekend I would be tempted to call the out of hours doctors for your area and get seen.

Thanks Katie I don't it's infection as urine very clear the district nurse gave me some sachets of lubrication gel which helps sometimes but just don't feel comfortable at times it has me crying 😢
It sounds like you have a bladder irritation if you’re urine is clear, you might benefit from drinking cranberry juice and also getting a smaller sized catheter fitted, ring the district nurse and they can check things for you. Good luck.
I cannot tolerate a catheter at all - causes me intense pain
