I joined this forum last year after my transplant for advice, news and shared interests in all thing liver. I enjoyed reading the morning email links with my coffee and medication but wow, it appears to be turning into some kind of stalking ground from some posters who simply will not listen to advice and maybe should go to the correct forum for their own sanity.
It’s such a shame to now have to scroll through the headings to find a genuine liver post. I’m on two other forums related to my recovery and they are a joy to read.
Sorry to post this but it’s quite sad how it’s changed very recently.

Hi,
We are sorry that you have not found the forum a helpful place to visit recently.
As GP's are hard to access at the moment, lots of new members are posting here about general health worries and test results. We are aware of this and are trying to encourage these members to direct their concerns to their doctors who are most appropriate to advise them.
We hope that you can still find the forum supportive.
Sorry, and I mean sorry as I am probably one of those people who are asking if there is anyone who can help me understand some of what is going on with my body now that I have been diagnosed with cirrhosis of the liver, and yes through alcohol. I am truly sorry for your health issues and I wish you all the very best but I did think that this site was here to help anyone who has liver problems whether it has been bought on through their own actions or not. Some people have found life very hard to deal with, for one reason or another and yes some of us weaker one's have turned to alcohol which has now caused us problems. Whether it is through any fault of our own or not we to need help to understand liver disease. I now feel that some of us are not welcome on here as our alcohol drinking is the cause of our problem and so I will apologise for upsetting your morning coffee and take my problems elsewhere where people understand that sometimes alcohol can seem like your only lifeline. I'm sorry if I am being out of order but that is just the way that I feel.
