My friend had his ascites drained a day before and his blood pressure has dropped since then. He can't even stand properly. He is in hospital. Any similar experiences and how it was treated?

Hi live positive, This happened to me , I was attached to a heart trace monitor, told to rest, my BP was taken at regular 15 min intervals through the morning, im sorry I can't give any other information as I was not given anything, it just seemed to increase slightly through the day

Hoping the same. Fingers crossed. Thank you.

Low blood pressure can sometimes occur in patients where a large volume of fluid has been drained. He will be closely observed and treated in hospital.

We hope he starts to feel better soon.
