For 15 years was told I had Gilbert’s syndrome today they confirmed it was miss diagnosed, I have severe itching from the bilirubin , surely they should off checked this properly ? 15 years off fobbed off to be told I was correct ☹️
If it’s not Gilbert’s disease anyone else had high bilirubin for so long ? And all my other levels are fine in my liver and kidneys

Most medical diagnosis is made by confirming what its not. This sometime leads to a possible misdiagnosis. I would have thought that due to this misdiagnosis, your local NHS health care Trust would be running around trying to rectify this mistake, and trying to identify what is causing your condition.
There is a local organisation around the UK called "HealthWatch". Just Google HealthWatch followed by your local city to find them. Healthwatch act as mediators when things go wrong between a patient and a NHS doctor/department. There not solicitors or anything like that, but just act on your behalf when things go wrong.
Thank you for your reply . I’ll look into it now it’s not about the money I told them 15 years ago something was up ...no no sir it’s Gilbert’s . Then 15 years later I was correct ...
Carnt do much with it being 15 years ago anyway ha ..
