Liver inflammation and enzymes high after drinking too much alcohol.

I was drinking too much alcohol that I ended in a detox facility. I had a couple of lab tests, 2 days a part. On the 1st, my liver enzymes were off the charts, in the 600s. On the 2nd set they came down about 50%. 2nd set was 3 days after stopping drinking. I haven't drank for 22 days. I had another lab done 16 days after my last drink of alcohol. Will my liver enzymes continue to go down?

Yes. As long as you stay of the booze, eat healthily and exercise regularly.

You're welcome. Good luck

Good morning ARojas,

Welcome to this friendly, supportive forum.

Firstly, congratulations on your abstinence - this is the best thing you can do for your long term liver health and you should find over time that you liver tests will reflect your ongoing abstinence.
