In Croatian A+E

Diagnosed with a stuck gallstone.

Surgeon wants to cut it out. Doctor wants to wait 24 hours. Fly home in 2 days.

Pain relief worked and slept fine.

Now ok. Any suggestions. They have told us to fly home as normal.

Glad you are feeling more comfortable. Have the doctors in Croatia given you any documentation to give to UK doctor regarding your visit to A and E, results etc? What have they said about what you should do when you get back to the UK?

It might also be worth just checking your travel insurance.......are you covered if you fly with a new medical condition....

Been told nothing.

Have lots of paperwork all in Croatian.

They said go and see your doctor when u get home.

Not ideal ! Try and get an apointment with your GP as soon as you get back so that you can be referred to the appropriate specialist. A stuck stone will need to be dealt with sooner rather than later.

Personally I'd be concerned about flying and the changes in air pressure that go with it and an ongoing a gallstone issue. Although it was a long time ago, I'm sure I was advised not to fly with gallstones.

If you have health insurance, do they have a help desk you could ask for doctors consultation? I'd also phone my GP back here in the UK before you fly. With so many consultations being online at the moment, you shouldn't (doesn't mean wont) have trouble getting an emergency consultation with your GP.

With all due respect, I doubt that this "cure" will work and in any case Mark does not have 4 days plus the time to source the ingredients. Looks more like snake oil than an effective treatment to me.
