Fibroscan 11.8

Hi Guys,

My brother's Fibroscan score was 11.8(fibrosis F3-4) but his ALT/AST look like normally which score 57/31. He has hepatitis B.

Does FibroScan score can determine the stage of fibrosis ? And F3 is still reversible if he follow the treatment to reduce the number of virus ?

It will be important to get his viral load right down so that the Hepatitis B is no longer attacking his liver - it might then be possible for his liver will improve or remain stable. None of us here are medical professionals so can't say anything for sure. His liver will need to be frequently monitored.

Hi I have hep b and the tablets I have been taking are brilliant they have reduced the virus load in my blood immensely . It no longer is affecting my liver
