56 years old male diagnosed with NCPF. Undergo EVL every three months. Most of the times these are high risk residual varices with RCS. Recently I have started to undertake an hour of medium intensity cardio and strength exercises every day. Can the elevated heart rate during exercise cause aggravation of my varices or cause a rupture?
