Hi Chris,

Like you I read posts and replies for quite a while, before I took the plunge and tried to help others here. Liver disease does not discriminate on who gets it, so don't worry about your being gay, we are all sufferers of this awful disease. I have stage 4 cirrhosis, compensated, and never realised how it could affect my daily life so much. You will see, as you have been reading posts here, we are a friendly bunch, with a wealth of personal experience to offer fellow sufferers, and your contributions will be most welcome, so just fire away when you feel comfortable with it.

Take Care,

David
