Gastric Veracie

Seems all I can do is focus on these darn veracie. The more I read, the more scared I become. My husband had a bleed back on Oct 1...so it is only 3 months. Since them, he has been great. Completely quit smoking cigars and drinking alcohol (beer). Reduced salt intake...and dropped about 20 pounds. He gets re-scoped in Feb. and they talk TIPS and BRTO as a way to prevent a bleed from every happening. He is currently on BB and Acid reducers. Like I said, the more I read the scared I get that it will all happen again. Studies suggest that a high percentage will rebelled within 1-2 years! Good GOD I’ll be dead thill then from worry!!!! I am hopefully but too afraid to be (I don’t want to be foolish) that when he gets scoped in FEB. everything is starting to look better and they don’t have to do anything!!!! Is anyone aware or has had the BRTO procedure. Everything comes with a pro and a con...worried wife...ready to feel normal again. Wishing everyone a happy and HEALTHY 2019.
