Hi guys three weeks ago I was sent to hospital with a really bad infection my bilirubin was very high and infection markers were described as normal being 9 and mine being 375. I had 2 scans but nothing to give a definite diagnosis I’m now going for an MRI on Wednesday then back to see the specialist but I’m scared to eat anything except things I know won’t aggravate my liver and frightened what might have caused the infection as I was really ill and still recovering, I wondered if anyone had similar experience and it was just a one off infection?

Hiya I haven't had anything like that, but I know it's quite common for infections to send our livers haywired ... If the doctors are positive it's an infection and they have treated or are treating it, then your results will return to normal in time 😊 you don't have to avoid foods just don't fry anything it's grill or ovencook and cut down on salt .... Hope you're better soon 😘
