I know you have been told this before but any ammonia smell is bad. Speak with your doctor again.

How are you otherwise?

Sounds like a UTI. I have them almost constantly post tx. Small price to pay ...

Hello Faithfull, I've had all sorts of problems such as urine infections, smells, itchiness etc and I suppose as a 71 year old woman it's to be expected. I know this sounds really daft, but when I started getting a smelly discharge I didn't want to go back to the doctor as the last time I had this problem the sample I gave came back as negative. To cut a long story short, I started to have hot drinks with a teaspoon of Marmite twice a day for a few days and found to my amazement that my discharge and smell had completely gone and if it comes back, even slightly, I drink one or 2 mugs a day of the above for a couple of days and I'm back to normal. Please let me know if this works for you.

I have that problem too, it seems to come and go, but every week there are days where it is very strong smell. I told my doctor about it and she said, “ of that doesn’t mean anything” I don’t believe that myself. Trying to figure out what to do next. I have severe fatty liver, that is enlarged to 16.6 cm that’s quite large i think for a woman. It’s nice to know I am not the only one dealing with this embarrassing symptom. I wish I had an answer for you, I am trying to find one myself.

Hi faithfull. Are you on any medications? My urine is bad smelling if i take anti depresants or sleeping pills. Mmby friends is awfuĺ lf she ,takes paracetamol and you can even get a slight wiff of amonia coming from her skin. 😊x
