Liver cirrhosis

My enzyme are up ...in they going down slowly .my doctor suggests that I have liver biopsy ..then i sit him what stage i was the cirrhosis he told me stage 4..I was surprise I was never told 2014 I was diagnosed fatty liver nash ..cirrhosis .I been upset since then..since may 30.im confused more then ever .. please do you have any suggestions thanks ..yvonne 567

This must be a very upsetting time for you. It may be a good idea for you to get another appointment with your liver doctor and/or GP to go through things with you again - explain what the situation is now, what the plan is going forward, is there anything you can do to improve the situation. Always a good idea to take someone else with you to listen as well. Have your questions written down before you go.
