Fatty liver is when too much fat has accumulated in the liver usually due to a poor diet resulting in a person being overweight (especially around the belly) although there can be other causes. Around three quarters of people who are obese have a fatty liver. A fatty liver is considered a harmless condition that is reversible. An inflammed fatty liver is is not considered harmless and has the potential to lead to cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer.

Hi yes they are 2 completely diff liver conditions lol. Fatty liver is the mildest form which means u have extra fat in ur liver and can be reversed. liver inflammation is where ur liver is inflamed also known as hepatitis. Why do u ask?
