Anybody loss their appetite 2yrs after being diagnosed with alcohol cirrhosis. Thanks pepppy05

Hi

Any form of cirrhosis will affect your appetite.

My husband when away one year on holiday on eyear lost his appetite and gained weight due to ascites.

It's been three months will I get my appetite back soon

In dont know where u r with hospital appointments.Maybe u ought to get an appointment and discuss the change.

I'm in united states I have a liver and gastrointestinal doctor also PvP doctor I slowly became depression before i loss my appetite I thought it was the cirrhosis but they said it was the depression do I'm now on ssri for one month now hope that helps
