Is there another type of measurement for liver stiffness instead of kPa. My gastroenterologist rang me this evening and said that the result from my fibroscan on Monday showed I was Fibrosis stage 2. I asked him what the kPa reading was, he said he didn't have the kPa but it is 2.1 stiffness then another figure that I cant remember which means you have stage 2 fibrosis. When I had the scan I asked the nurse for a reading in kPa which she said was 32.5 but not to tell anyone she had told me, hence why I am confused. any ideas anyone?

I read on here a while ago that only a biopsy can really show the score, try not to worry and read too much misinformation
