I've been vegetarian most of my life but since cutting out all animal products my chronic liver disease has improved and my blood tests are the best they've ever been. Anyone on here had similar experiences?

Hi, that is very interesting to read. I have been vegan in the past and am just recovering from gall bladder and bile duct surgery and am contemplating what I can do to care for my liver and health more generally. This is certainly food for thought.
I am a vegan and as such I have been encouraging my friend who has AHLD to do the same. He is not vegan but all the foods I give him are and I'm sure its made a difference. So much information out there now about health benefits for vegans its got to help with chronic illness.
It's undoubtedly the best life choice I've made. I have more energy, feel stronger, sleep better, my mind is clearer. Don't get me wrong, I do have bad days but for my condition specialists are amazed at how well I'm doing. Since going vegan I came off omoprozel and halved my other meds.
Hi, I suffer with cirhossisvand ivevbeen vegetarian for 11 years. Ready meals for us are out due to high salt levels and a hate lentles, rice and pasta.get my veg due to my love of making soup.
