I'm at it again lol asking more qestions..anyone know about white blochy paches all over the skin....i have hep c and portal hypertension.

Hi 226. What is your natural skin colour? Do the patches look like a loss of pigment in the skin or are they raised, dry or scaly?

Hi Bolly it is a motteled look just started wks ago...more like white patches that show up ...they tend to come and go ..recenty been getting worse.even my daugher was asking what is causing this started around these little spider red spots that i have but now patches of motteled all over

Also my skin is very fair and no Bolly not raised or scaly..seems to be under the skin

I have these. White patches, not raised, just like blotches the size of a 5p where it looks like my skin lacks pigment. They are mostly on my thighs.

I have alcohol related cirrhosis and was told the patches were caused by vitamin b deficiency. After a year of taking prescribed strong vitamin b tablets, I think the patches are less obvious...but I might be kidding myself

I found out what they are..they are called Bier spots..they are nothing to worry about..they can be seen in people with liver disease but also in young healthy adults..think something to do with circulation around small veins.
