Sharp pains in my head

Hi, i have been recently getting sharp shooting pains in the left side of my head, near my temple. It started off as me getting them every hour or so and them lasting 15-30 seconds, the pain made me flinch and have to stop what i was doing and close my eyes. As time went on the pains became more frequent but only lasting about 10-15 seconds, now i constantly have a medium headache and every few minutes getting strong pains in my temple, im sure its nothing to worry about but i have no idea what it is or what could be causing it and any replies from people who have experienced something like this would help a lot, thanks.

I don't know a lot about migraines but k do have TMJ disorder and I'll get pain in my temple area sometimes one side sometimes both.  If you clench or grind your teeth at night it may be something to look into. It can hurt like a real B.  Good luck.
