H9w long after angiogram did it take to do operation? I'm uk I live in Portsmouth, however my operation is being preformed at Southampton General hospital.

Hi Shayjackjay, it’s difficult to say your best bet would be to contact your surgeons secretary, and ask them if they have any idea. Every hospital and area is different, and waiting times will also vary depending on the urgency, the size of the aneurysm, etc, I hope you can get some reassurance, I believe Southampton is a very good neuro centre, so you are in good hands, lots of luck love Alice xx

hi Shayjackjay,

I had my aneurysm surgery at Southampton in December. It’s a fantastic neurosurgery department - you’re in good hands.

I had my angiogram in September and was due to have surgery 2 months later. Unfortunately, a piece of equipment in the operating theatre broke down the day before my planned surgery so they had to postpone. Despite that, they managed to get me in 3 weeks later.
