Hi Michael. I had a SAH in August 2017. Had emergency surgery with 4 coils. Overall, recovery is a long journey but the headaches are there since the day of the rupture. How are you doing?

Hi Michael, hope your doing ok still, I think we ask questions on here. Sounds like it's quite a common thing having a SH. I hope because we have had one doesn't mean we are prone to them again. I don't have the headaches anymore but am unsteady on my feet nowadays. Have had 2 bad falls to my head now and didn't get checked out at hospital. I always have that fear in the back of my head it might happen again. All the best to you.

Hi Auldhen. I had a SAH in August 2017. Had 4 coils and still recovering. Has been life changing and not the same person I used to be. How are you?

Hi there, at times I think I am losing the plot I'm so dozy now. I cant seem to get organised or in a routine anymore. Go round in circles and get nothing done. Maybe its bloody dementia setting in. I used to be such an organised person. My speech comes out garbled alot especially if I am stressed. My head knows what I want to say but the words don't come out. Is this normal? I have put on loads of weight also, what the hell is going on!!

Maybe it would help to destress and enjoy the slower pace of life. Put your thoughts in writing and if you find your speech garbled, slow down a bit and gather your thoughts. Sometimes, we think faster than we can speak it. I do that a lot even before my aneurysm. My mind is just hyperactive.
