It has been no secret that my children probably saved my life along with the medical staff that helped me. On the night of my accident, as soon as they found me the phoned for the ambulance. Essex Ambulance Service were so impressed by their call that they have asked if they can use it to teach children in local schools what to do if they find themselves in a similar situation. The Ambulance Service have also arranged a day for the children to go along and be rewarded with certificates and medals. I am so proud of them both. For a 10 year old and a 14 year old they did fantastically well to phone 999, remain calm and explain exactly what they could see.
Also today they accompanied me to my first Neurology appointment and we had some fantastic news again. The Consultant said he has never cared for anybody that has recovered in the speed that I have and to the degree I have. He said there are only two other recorded cases similar to my recovery in the UK. I don’t know how true that is but I’m just so glad it was news that could put my children’s minds at rest.
My one wish and hope for all you wonderful, supportive people is that you all receive this kind of positive news sometime soon.

Unfortunately my head injury was a simple accident. Believe it or not I just fell down 12 stairs which caused a massive traumatic brain injury, broke the base and most of the right hand side of my skull, subarachnoid haemorrhage and blood clots. Who would think a fall down the stairs at home could almost end your life?
I wish you a lifetime of peace, happiness, good health and lots of luck,
Thank you so much my lovely. As you can probably imagine I am so proud of them. Don't think i have done too badly for a single parent. Their father has no idea how wonderful and amazing they are.
I wish you peace, happiness, good health and a lot of great luck,

Your children sound brilliant, moved me to tears, I'd be lost without the support I have received from my mother. Looks like you have done a great job with them, you must be very proud of them.
Thank you so much, I am so proud of them. Their Dad has no idea how amazing they are. He disappeared when Alfie was three and three weeks before Billie-Mae was born. It's just been us three for the last ten years but we've done ok. Like you with your Mum! I don't know where we would be without my parents and my sister. I adore both my children and would give my life for them if they needed it. I bet your Mum feels the same about you. Have a good day my friend. I wish you to get everything you want out of life,
