Does a withdrawal bleed on the combined pill (rigevidon) mean you're not pregnant?

Hi Loren

If you took your pill everyday and didn't miss any pills then it’s a withdrawal bleed and that would generally mean you are not pregnant. Unfortunately a withdrawal bleed it is not an 100 per cent guarantee that you are not pregnant. But if you have taken your pills correctly and nothing else has happened to make the pill less effective for example vomiting or taken any medicines which may have affected the pill, then it’s unlikely you are pregnant

However, if you are concerned I would suggest taking a pregnancy test which you can buy from pharmacies, supermarkets and even pound shops. Or you can pop down to your local Contraceptive and Sexual Health Clinic or GP clinic and get one for free.

I hope this helps

Best wishes

Katherine

Hi Loren

Okay well I would say that if you have taken two tests which have come back negative and you have taken your pills correctly you are most likely not pregnant.

I hope this helps

Best wishes
