I didnt have any of those. I had9 months of cisplastin and Gemzar. Now i am taking taflinar and Mekinist 5 pills everyday. My tumor has shrunk significantly.
Wow--nine months of cisplatin is not easy. At all.
My husband was only able to take Lenvima for about 10 days. Side effects so bad that Dr has stopped for now. He had a TACE in March right after HCC was confirmed. Shrunk the tumor but now more have developed. Dr thought Lenvima was best to try but didn't work out. Has another TACE scheduled for 24th.

Oncologist is wanting Jimmy to try a reduced dose of Lenvima, 2 tabs a day instead of 3. He wanted him to start this coming Monday but he has the Deb-Tace procedure the next day. His side effects started pretty quickly last time. I don't want him to not be able to have procedure because he's too sick so we're waiting until after procedure.
