HI Gertied. I'm sorry to hear this, it is a worry for you that's for sure. Did you manage to see another GP at your practice as I know you've been having problems for several months now. If not, maybe you can try to see another GP tomorrow. Also, have a word with your pharmacist and tell him/her your worries as it may be one of the drugs side effects or one drug reacting with one of the others. We are not medically trained to give you any advice on this. Is your BP any lower now than it was a while ago? You could try contact the Blood Pressure UK helpline Helpline: 020 7882 6218. Good luck Gertied and please let us know how you get on. x

Thank you for replying. It is impossible to see a gp or even to get a phone call. The last time I spoke to one, I told her that I was not feeling well. She said that her concern was to get my bp down. Anything else was not important. I just dont bother trying now. My bp is now low in the mornings but still high later in the day.

It's the same for a lot of us now Gertied unfortunately yet they say the GPs are rushed off their feet!????? How on earth did they manage before Covid I'd like to know!! Do you start to worry towards the afternoons that your bp is going to be high?
