Very Sad News

I am sorry to say that I lost my dear husband John last Wednesday. I am devastated to lose my best friend and to see him suffer trying to breathe at the end, what a cruel disease PF is. Thank you all for your advice and wishing you all the best and a much better year now the nightmare is nearly over. Lots of love Carole and Rosie xx

Losing your wife in the Covid pandemic must have been so painful. It will still be raw with so many things lost to you. Thank you for reaching out and I hope that you and your family find strength in each other. I also have PPFE and it can feel isolating. Carole and Rosie I am so sorry at your loss. It so hard to watch someone you love trying to breathe and knowing that they have very little room left in their lungs that are actually capturing oxygen for them. My heart goes out to you knowing that you would have had to take steps to ease his suffering as I had to with my father as my 7 other siblings where not emotionally capable of being able to do it. It will take you time to get use to the lose and grief. But always remember our community is always here for you to talk to you or to just listen. Just remember he is always with you in your heart he will never leave there. I still talk to those I have loved and lost that were very dear to me and I do believe they have answered me in different ways. With a week of constantly finding dimes everywhere to a dream or a family member answering a question I had put forth to one of them. He will stay with you and watch over you but most of all he will want you to move on with your life once you have finished grieving for him. Just remember he is no longer in pain or having difficulty breathing. Blessed be.
