Chest X-ray

Hi i had a chest X-ray on Friday and this is Tuesday and I’m so worried. I’ve had chest tightness and a cough for months. My bloods came back normal apart from sugar levels slightly high. I get tightness under my chest it’s a strange feeling. Has anyone experienced this

If chest x-ray does not show anything ask if you can have a CT scan as I was given one after suffering with coughing for ages and it showed I had Bronchiectasis. Worth a mention

I'm sure many of us here do from time to time if not all the time. There are many lung diseases and it takes time to get a diagnosis- unless of course its an infection which can easily be sorted with a good antibiotic and/or a short course of steroids. Good luck with result from x-ray. Try not to stress, it can make you cough & tighten chest more. Breathing exercises may help, ie deep diaphragm breathing (see youtube). P
